Claude Visibility Checker: See how Claude describes and recommends your brand

We ask Claude the questions your buyers ask and show whether it names you, where you rank, and who it recommends instead. It's the clearest view of what the model itself knows about your category.

Includes a dedicated Claude check

The category a buyer would ask AI about, not your tagline.

We ask each engine 3 buyer questions and 1 question about your brand. Your scan stays private. See how it works.

How it decides

How Claude decides what to recommend

Our Claude check runs without web search, so Claude answers from what it learned in training. That makes it a test of how well known you are, not of how your pages rank this week.
  1. It names what it has read about

Claude learned from a large body of text gathered before its training cutoff. Brands that show up often, across many independent sources, are the ones it recalls when asked for a shortlist.

  2. Consistency beats volume

If your site, profiles and press all describe you the same way, the model is more likely to file you in the right category. Mixed messages after a pivot or a rename blur the picture.

  3. It's careful with what it doesn't know

When Claude isn't confident about a brand, it often leaves it out or says it can't verify details. For a young startup, absence usually means “not enough signal yet”, not a bad review.

  4. It changes with model updates, not overnight

Because the knowledge comes from training, improvements show up as new model versions ship. That's why a baseline now and a re-check later is worth having.

What we check

What we check for Claude

For each of your three buyer questions, we read Claude's answer and record four things.

Mentioned

Whether Claude names your brand or domain anywhere in its answer.

Rank in the list

Your position in Claude's recommendations, and how many options it gave.

Cited as a source

Without web search Claude rarely cites sources, so expect this to be empty. We still check for any link to your domain in the text.

Who's named instead

The brands Claude recalls for your category. If the same names lead here and on the search engines, they own the category's reputation.

Levers

What tends to move Claude

Claude's knowledge changes slowly, so the work is about building signal that lasts.
  1. Use one description everywhere

Pick a one-line description of what you do and who it's for. Use it on your site, LinkedIn, company databases, directories and founder bios.

  2. Earn independent coverage

Reviews, comparison articles, podcasts, newsletters and community threads written by other people are how a model learns a category.

  3. Keep core pages clear and crawlable

Plain About, pricing and product pages help any model that reads your site. Check that your robots.txt allows Anthropic's crawlers if you want to be included.

  4. Re-check after model updates

When a new Claude version ships, run the scan again and compare. That's when changes in recognition become visible.

Claude visibility questions

How we check Claude, what the results mean, and what you can do about them.

No. We call Claude through Anthropic's API without web search, so the answer reflects what the model itself knows about your category. That makes Claude a different test from the search-based engines: it shows whether your brand made it into the model's own picture of the market. Your report shows the exact model that answered.

Language models learn from text collected up to a training cutoff, and they tend to name brands that were written about often and consistently. A young startup, a recent pivot or a rename may be missing, or described from older information.

This improves as more independent coverage of you exists and as new model versions are trained. It doesn't change overnight, which is why it's worth tracking.

Close, but not identical. In the app, people may use a different Claude model, may have web search switched on, and bring their own projects, files and chat history. Our check is a clean answer with none of that personal context, so it's comparable from scan to scan.

If you sell to developers or B2B teams, some of your buyers use Claude to research tools and draft shortlists. Claude's answers also show how the wider web has described your category over time. A brand that Claude names without being prompted has real, lasting recognition.

Use one consistent one-line description of what you do on your site, your social and founder profiles, and the directories in your category. Earn coverage from independent sources: reviews, comparisons, podcasts, community threads. Keep your About and pricing pages clear and current. Check your robots.txt allows Anthropic's crawlers if you want your pages included.
